The short version
Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The times, ages and other numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored on our servers.
Information we don't collect
We don't ask you to create an account and we don't collect your name, phone number or address through the calculators.
Information stored on your device
To save you retyping, some tools remember your settings (for example, how long you take to fall asleep, or your chosen city) in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Location
The Brahma Muhurta calculator can use your location to calculate local sunrise, but only if you press "Use my location" and allow it. The location is used inside your browser for that calculation and is not sent to us.
Calendar reminders
The "Add bedtime reminder" button creates a calendar file on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
Server logs and analytics
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. This information is not used to identify you personally.
Advertising
We may show advertising in future to keep the tools free. If we do, advertising partners may use cookies to show relevant ads. We will update this policy before that happens and explain how to opt out.
Children
Our tools are general-purpose and suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have rights over your personal data, including access and correction. Since we don't collect personal data through the calculators, there is usually nothing to access, but you can contact us with any request.
